Leonhauser Rosenau brings 25 years of experience in public relations and journalism to Franco. She is responsible for the development and management of the firm’s public relations practice, expansion of the firm’s presence and capabilities in national and international markets and growth of its business.
Previously, Leonhauser Rosenau served as director of public relations for Volkswagen of America, where she was responsible for developing the corporate and brand image and media strategies for the Audi and Volkswagen vehicle brands. She was head of the crisis management team and directed all media and industry analyst events, including new-product launches in the United States and Canada.
For 15 years, prior to her involvement at Volkswagen, Leonhauser Rosenau was a journalist, holding positions as reporter, editor, editorial writer and columnist for The Philadelphia Bulletin, the Sacramento Bee, Time magazine and People magazine.
Leonhauser Rosenau is the recipient of numerous journalism and civic awards and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Women’s Economic Club, and Economic Club of Detroit, among other organizations.
Leonhauser Rosenau holds a bachelor of arts degree in English and theatre arts from Temple University. She is a resident of Dearborn, Mich.
