Michelle Zdrodowski has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, event planning, crisis management and community outreach.
An expert in government/community affairs and media strategy, Zdrodowski leads the nonprofit and education team. Her clients include The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit and Washtenaw County, The General Retirement System of the City of Detroit, and Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.
Zdrodowski also manages the firm’s recruitment and internship programs.
Before joining Franco, Zdrodowski was deputy press secretary to former Detroit Mayor Dennis W. Archer. Her responsibilities included developing and executing communications plans for major city initiatives, such as Angels’ Night, Operation Clean Sweep and Census 2000.
Zdrodowski also served as communications advisor and spokesperson for former Detroit Deputy Mayor Freman Hendrix during his tenure as Chairman of the Reform School Board in Detroit.
A native Detroiter, Zdrodowski holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Michigan State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Detroit XXV and serves on the Board of Directors of the Friends Foundation of the Detroit Public Library.
