Jim Miller

Account Manager

Jim is a seasoned publicist, children’s book author and music fanatic. Jim (along with his sister) created a children’s book series titled Basie & Paisley about friendly monsters, which currently includes three books – A Spider Lives In My Belly Button, A Monstrous Smile, and A Moose In The Basement.

An avid music fan, Jim sang in a performance with Bob McGrath of Sesame Street and hosted two radio shows, but now sticks to playing DJ in the car. If you happen to see him driving, chances are you’ll see him singing along to the LP of the moment.

Not quite a cicerone, Jim’s a supporter of Michigan’s craft brew industry. He enjoys sampling and learning about different beer styles while collecting brewery growlers.

With about a dozen years in the PR industry, Jim has garnered experience working with clients in many industries including technology, construction, law, real estate, retail, restaurants, unions, and municipalities.

He has cultivated media relationships becoming a trusted, credible and dependable resource. Jim strives to provide results for clients that make a positive impact on business.

Jim chaired the PR/Media Committee for BravoBravo! 2010 and 2011, a fundraiser event supporting the Detroit Opera House.

Jim’s role at Franco is to manage an array of accounts in different industries such as retail, law, technology and entertainment with a special focus on media relations and social media. He serves as a member of the agency’s Leadership Team, and supports business development.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Oakland University.
