Mark R. Fisher
Senior Counsel
Mark is a nationally respected non-profit counselor and author. He has helped non-profit organizations raise approximately $750 million in private support.
In the late 1980s Mark joined Franco and helped establish its non-profit practice group. Franco and Mark continued to work together over the years and most recently re-aligned to bring a combined focus to the non-profit market sector.
Mark’s Capacity Building Programs and Workshops, including Board Leadership Programs, Seven Target Development Audits, Strategic Visioning Workshops and Pre-Capital Campaign Planning and Counsel, present a definite value proposition for non-profits.
Mark’s focus comes from a lifelong experience of working with volunteers, donors and staff – transforming them to communities of compassion. He realized that the similarities between each of the participants of an organization were more significant than the differences. Mark stands by the belief that by building unity between volunteers, donors, staff, care receivers and the greater community our ability to achieve full potential increases exponentially.
Mark holds a doctorate from the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, Mich. with a dissertation entitled Compassion in Board Decision Making.
