As the saying goes, “All politics are local.” Michelle understands this better than most, having served as the go-to gal for media relations and crisis communications for former Detroit Mayor Dennis W. Archer. And, she doesn’t just understand it – she lives it, putting her unique grasp of the political arena to work for her clients.

Ask “Z” (it’s easier than Zdrodowski) a question about the hot button political issue of the day and she’s likely to not only give you her opinion, but also to give you a rundown of what she’s heard on the various news outlets she’s constantly monitoring.

The leader of Franco’s nonprofit/government practice group, Michelle assists her clients in developing public relations and branding/advertising strategies that raise their visibility and help them meet or exceed fundraising goals. She also uses the wealth of knowledge she’s earned from her more than 20 years in the business to provide Franco’s clients with counsel in times of crisis.

Michelle also manages Franco’s employee retention and internship programs.

A native Detroiter who has spent the last 10 years enjoying loft living in the city’s Midtown neighborhood (Grass? Who needs grass?), Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University.

Ask her the one thing she can’t live without and she’ll undoubtedly say her Blackberry, with her family and friends running a close second (please don’t tell her mother).
