Change is in the air! It’s transition time as we get rid of winter and welcome spring; as well as a bunch of other activities. We kicked off meetings with our new client, the city of Royal Oak, celebrated Oberon Day and cheered for the Tigers on Opening Day. Check out what else we were up to March, below:

Made New Friends in Royal Oak

Senior Account Executive Megan Peterson, Account Executive Lauren Connor and Account Director Elizabeth Robbins-Sabourin met the city of Royal Oak’s new mascot, ROMI, at a client kickoff meeting. We’re excited to work with ROMI much more in the future!

Hosted Wayne State PRSSA

Wayne State PRSSA stopped by our office Friday, March 23 for an open discussion about the PR, social media and marketing industries, our agency, and making the transition from students to professionals. Wayne State PRSSA students also took a tour of our new office. Good luck to these Wayne State students in their future careers!

Traveled to Sin City

Franco President Tina Kozak attended the National Automobile Dealers Association 2018 Show in Las Vegas with client automotiveMastermind to support a new product announcement. Pictured below she is sitting in on a Wall Street Journal interview with auto reporter Adrienne Roberts.

While in Las Vegas, the Franco team also checked out Shawn McClain’s Libertine Social for a taste of what’s to come when he brings a new, multi-concept dining experience to the top of the GMRENCEN. They’re happy to report it was delicious!

Raised a Glass for Oberon Day

What says springtime more than Oberon Day? March 26 welcomed an arrange of oranges and Bell’s Brewery Oberon to our office as we kicked off the last of winter and said hello to spring. Cheers to a great spring and summer!

Turned green…for St. Patty’s Day!

Account Executive Lauren Connor helped client Downtown Milford promote their St. Patrick’s Day festivities with restaurant Palate at Fox 2 Detroit. Were you in Milford to celebrate the Irish holiday?

Talked Everything #Detroit

Account Supervisor Andrea Kenski, Digital Marketing Specialist Adriane Groggins and Assistant Account Executive Dana Blankenship traveled to the WeWork office near Campus Martius for an early morning PRSA Detroit and IABC Detroit discussion. The panel featured Bedrock executives who broke down the city’s pitch to make Detroit Amazon’s second headquarters. We all agree that Amazon lost out on Detroit, not the other way around.

Welcomed Nancy Skidmore to the Office

PRSA Detroit and IABC Detroit Executive Secretary Nancy Skidmore stopped by our new office to tour the space! Here she is with another PR legend in our office, Tony Franco.

Loved Lover’s Only

We ventured out for a little #DetroitInspiresMe outing to Lover’s Only on the west side of downtown. The new restaurant had only been open for a week, and it did not disappoint. If you love one-of-a-kind burgers, hoppy craft beer and custom-crafted cocktails you should check it out!

Saw a Leprechaun at the Fischer Theatre

Account Supervisor Andrea Kenski donned her green shamrock scarf and attended WJR’s Paul W. Smith St. Patrick’s Day broadcast with Lt. Col. John Turner of The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division. Held at the Fisher Building in Detroit, Lt. Col. Turner spoke with the morning radio host about the recent Bed & Bread Club Radiothon, and wished him the luck o’ the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

Reviewed Q1 with an All Employee Meeting

Somehow it’s the end of Q1, so took a little time to review our business, office changes and Franco-news at our all employee meeting.

We’re already looking forward to Q2! Stay tuned for what we’re up to in April.

P.S. We’re so excited baseball is back! Go Tigers!
