February welcomed a winter mix of events for Franconians; and now that it’s over, we’re asking how it went by so quickly! Between media segments and around-the-clock events we had a lot of fun in February. Here’s what we were up to:

Worked Around the Clock at The Salvation’s Army’s 2018 Radiothon

Account Supervisor Andrea Kenski and Vice President Pat Adanti-Joy rallied for a 16-hour shift at The Salvation Army’s 31st Annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon at the Emagine Novi. The nonprofit event raised more than $1.2 million to help provide food and shelter to thousands of Metro Detroiters in need.

As part of her Radiothon responsibilities, Pat directed Major Russ Sjogren as he was interviewed by Fox 2 Detroit at The Salvation Army’s 31st annual Bed & Bread Club Radiothon.

Traveled from the Detroit Auto Show to the Chicago Auto Show

Account Manager Ann Marie Fortunate and Senior Account Executive Erica Harmon supported the Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI) at the Chicago Auto Show’s Concept & Technology Garage.

SMDI sponsored the Garage, which gave automotive media an opportunity to dive into the latest concept cars, safety technologies and automotive telematics.

“Broke a Leg” at WXYZ

University Liggett School senior Antonio Cipriano is headed to Broadway, but not before stopping at WXYZ! Assistant Account Executive Dana Blankenship and Account Supervisor Marie Boyle joined Antonio and WXYZ’s Alicia Smith for an interview and acoustic performance of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Good luck in New York, Antonio!

Filmed throughout Freezing Cold February!

Video Production Specialist Nate Adkins and Account Executive Lauren Connor spent much of February outside shooting new parking safety videos for client GMRENCEN. Safety first!

Switched Gears for Comerica Free Prix Day

Assistant Account Executive James Youness joined Comerica Bank’s Monica Martinez, the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix’s Bud Denker, two-time Grand Touring Daytona Class Champion Christina Nielsen, and students from the Detroit International Academy of Young Women for an afternoon of inspiration and robotics.

After surprising students with a field trip to this year’s Comerica Bank Free Prix Day, Nielsen posed for photos, signed autographs and answered questions from students at the academy. The students will rejoin Christina and her team on Belle Isle during Comerica Free Prix Day, where they’ll get a chance to interact with pit crews, drivers and engineers.

Honored Veterans with CBS

Account Supervisor Andrea Kenski spent a Saturday morning with CBS 62 Detroit to feature Jerry Schypinski, a Korean War Veteran and former MLB baseball player for a Hospice of Michigan We Honor Veterans pinning ceremony. Hospice of Michigan is honored to provide end-of-life services to those who have served their country.

Dove into Wedding Season at Fox 2

Assistant Account Executive Chase Rossman coordinated an Hour Detroit bridal fashion segment on Fox 2. The touch and show display featured vintage and vintage-inspired accessories and gowns.

Craved Caffeine at a New Coffee House

Account Director Elizabeth Robbins-Sabourin, Senior Account Executive Megan Peterson and Account Executive Lauren Connor ventured out during the work-from-home snowstorm to brainstorm for a new business proposal. The coffee at The Office Coffee Shop in their hometown of Royal Oak got their creative juices flowing!

Our 2018 has just started but it’s already been jam-packed. Keep an eye out for what we’re up to in March!
