Spring has sprung, and so have Franconians. From anniversaries and outings, to grand openings and Opening Day, April was a whirlwind of activity. If you ask us, this is only the beginning.

April marked the Francoversary of our amazing CEO, Dan Ponder. For over three decades, he has been a thoughtful, guiding force behind our agency and has worked closely with local charities and organizations to better Detroit. His leadership and giving back are just two reasons why our CEO Dan Ponder inspires us.

Our client Buddy’s Pizza, home of The Original Detroit-Style Pizza, kicked off its grand opening in Grand Rapids with a tour of several media outlets around town. We were proud to join Buddy’s in its hugely successful first opening outside of Southeast Michigan!

Franco enjoyed celebrating the Detroit Tigers Opening Day with hot dogs, cotton candy and all the other ballpark essentials. Go Tigers!

Lauren and Sam joined client Downtown Milford at Fox 2 segment highlighting the bi-annual Ladies Night Out event. The owner of For Feet’s Sake shared an array of merchandise found at the downtown retailer.

Senior Account Executive Megan Bonelli attended the WSU PRSSA PR Breakfast and networked with many talented students. Franco was proud to support the young professionals alongside the Detroit Chamber, PRSA Detroit and countless other great organizations.

We celebrated the wonderful Lori Cook (aka “office mom”) on Administrative Professionals’ Day on April 24. After all, she’s the glue that holds everyone at Franco together.

The GMRENCEN team had an early wakeup call on Bring Your Child to Work Day. Arriving at 6 a.m., the team greeted nearly 1,000 children with planned programming throughout the day like yoga, recess, a career fair, financial literacy, cookie excavation with Wayne State University and more. It was a special day for the kids and their parents. Special guests Eliza Kozak, Ana Kozak and Julianna Sullivan had a blast at the event!

We had a fabulous Franco Frolic at the Fowling Warehouse in Hamtramck. Footballs were flying!

Now that spring weather has finally sprung, next month is sure to be just as eventful. Luckily for us, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
