Assistant Account Executive
Mallary is a passionate communicator. She lives by good intentions and hard work, a solid foundation for the serendipitous career in public relations that she eats, sleeps and breathes. She is inspired by Detroit, a good adventure and the fact that every day is a chance to grow.
As an assistant account executive, she works on B2B accounts in the automotive and tech industries. She helps keep the team on track, monitors media and writes and submits pitches, all while wrestling several other super cool PR things.
She thrives seeing a project from start to finish and won’t stop until the work is done. In her free time, she enjoys bike riding or roller skating around her historic neighborhood, thrift shopping, cooking new dishes and attending events around the city.
Before joining Franco, Mallary worked at the Downtown Detroit Partnership where she managed their social media account, assisted with a variety of marketing collateral, organized and conducted surveys and created email newsletters for multiple departments. She also served as a promotions intern for the Detroit Metro Times where she assisted with events, helped with social media and managed giveaways.
Mallary holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in journalism from Oakland University. She regularly visits to speak about her experience turning internships into jobs and how to set yourself up for success post-graduation in the Communication field.
